Dayne Adrian Sitladeen pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court Wednesday.
Kelly Backman admits he was on drugs during a chase through Fergus Falls last October.
Kelly Backman had fentanyl in his system at the time of the chase, which ended when the suspect crashed into another vehicle, killing a married couple, charges state.
They were arrested on Jan. 10 near Fergus Falls.
One of them is a current hotspot, and the other four are likely to be soon.
He's accused of fleeing the scene of a meeting with undercover deputies.
The suspect ran a stop sign and broadsided the couple's vehicle.
