Thirty-five tents remained at the encampment after notice was given to vacate the area, the park board said.
The Minneapolis Park Board says it is still determining which parks can continue to have encampments, but will limit it to 20 parks with 25 tents each.
The park board will vote on the plan this week.
The resolution would have limited homeless encampments in Minneapolis to 10 tents.
It is considering a resolution Wednesday that would also require encampments to be gone by Sept. 1.
Authorities are now investigating.
Nearly 200 tents have been set up in Powderhorn Park.
Around 100 unhoused people have sought shelter in Powderhorn Park since last week.
