Minneapolis woman faces sex trafficking charges after missing teens found

Meranda Warborg, 32, from Minneapolis is being charged with two felony counts of sex trafficking and two felony counts of solicitation and promotion of prostitution, after two missing teen girls from Wisconsin were allegedly discovered with her in a Twin Cities apartment. A criminal complaint said the teens, ages 15 and 17, were featured in a Backpage.com advertisement posing in suggestive positions.

A 36-year-old Elko man is facing four counts of engaging in prostitution with minors after he allegedly met two girls, ages 16 and 17, at an Eagan motel for sex. Mickey Albert Cupkie admitted Thursday that he used his smartphone at his St. Paul job to look up the minors on a web site.
