Planet Fitness will open another Twin Cities area center next week
Just a few weeks after opening a facility in Mounds View, Planet Fitness has unveiled an opening date for its new 19,000-square-foot center in Rosemount.
The company, which has opened multiple Twin Cities area locations over the last year, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome the workout hub at 10 a.m. on Sept. 27.
Its Rosemount facility will feature more than 64 pieces of cardio equipment, a functional training room, a dedicated HIIT area with air bikes and rowers, HydroMassage Loungers, and tanning beds, among its many amenities.

Over the last year, the company has expanded its presence in Minnesota with fresh outposts in Minneapolis, Mounds View, and Edina, bringing the chain to a total of 37 locations in the state.
The new Planet Fitness at 3400 150th St. will be open 24 hours a day, Monday through Thursday. After closing at 9 p.m. on Friday, it'll be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
