Forbes woman charged with drive-by shooting at Hells Angels clubhouse
A Forbes woman has been charged with carrying out a drive-by shooting outside a Hells Angels clubhouse in St. Louis County on Monday.
Adrien Marie Gunderson, 39, is charged with drive-by shooting and possessing a firearm as a former felon. Her bail is currently $200,000 without conditions, and her initial court appearance is expected on September 9.
The complaint says that officers responded around 5 a.m. to the motorcycle gang's clubhouse in Eveleth after receiving a report that a woman in a silver Jeep Commander shot multiple times at the front door.
The caller was asleep on the couch when they heard a loud noise from the front door. Another club member answered the door, told Gunderson to leave, and shut the door.
The caller then heard loud banging noises, and the member who answered the door ran out of the way. Officers found fourteen 9mm casings scattered across the street and sidewalk in front of the clubhouse. Bullet holes were found on the front door, and damage was reported inside the front hallway.
Security camera footage at the clubhouse also showed Gunderson arriving at the bar at 6:11 a.m., shooting at the front door a minute later, and then driving away.
Officers spoke to the Jeep Commander's registered owner, who said she let her son use the car, and that Gunderson was her granddaughter.
When officers arrived at the home, they found the Jeep and arrested Gunderson, who had exited the house. According to the complaint, she began to make statements to police such as "I f****** hate the Hells Angels right now" and that her gun was in her backpack.
In Gunderson's room, they found a backpack containing a 9mm handgun, multiple magazines, and rounds of ammunition. Due to prior convictions, Gunderson is not allowed to possess a gun.
