Police officers doing an early morning welfare check at a Twin Cities home arrived to find a woman dead, with "multiple children" at the scene as well.

A 911 call to Brooklyn Center police came in at 3:25 a.m. Wednesday, requesting officers check on a woman and children at a home on the 5400 block of Oliver Avenue North.

At the property, officers discovered a woman dead at the scene. Police say none of the children found at the scene were hurt.
