A further 22 bars have been added to the Minnesota Department of Health list of establishments linked to COVID-19 outbreaks since Aug. 20, which is when we last published the figures.

The department has conducted 110 investigations into 103 restaurants for suspected coronavirus transmission among patrons. Of those investigations, 51 met the threshold for the definition of an outbreak, which means there were seven or more cases linked to this restaurant or bar.

It should be noted that this represents a fraction of the total bars and restaurants in Minnesota, and that many of the bars identified earlier in the year as having been linked to an outbreak have since had few to zero new cases.

It should also be noted that the inclusion of a bar/restaurant doesn't necessarily mean they are breaking COVID-19 regulations as it relates to capacity, social distancing and mask-wearing, though some have been cited for this.

Below is the entire list, broken up by when they were added.

"Total cases" refers to cases linked to the establishment, including people who tested positive after visiting more than one venue on a given night. "Unique cases" refers to COVID-positive cases from people that report going to only this establishment.
