Bullwinkle's Saloon seems to have been condemned by building inspectors
A longtime bar in the Seven Corners neighborhood of Minneapolis appears to be closed by order of city building inspectors.
Bullwinkle's Saloon & Funbar, which according to its website dates back to 1901, has been plagued by troubles in recent years — including facing loss of liquor license following a deadly shooting in 2018, and another shooting in September that left one person dead and three injured.
On Friday, former Twin Cities radio disc jockey Jason Nagel posted a picture on Twitter appearing to show a condemnation notice on Bullwinkle's front door, stating it's due to a "lack of utility, electricity."
A followup tweet shows what seems to be a lively party above the bar, though the announcement posted on the door indicates the building was to be vacated "immediately."
